I started Air Force Dads to help support and encourage parents and family members, girlfriends and boyfriends, of young men and woman who have or are going to join the Air Force. Please feel free to look around the site and get involved with the groups and discussions that are going on. Maybe start one of your own. I have two sons and both of them are in the military. My oldest joined the Navy and is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. My youngest joined the Air Force over 4 years ago. He is slated to deploy this Spring. Please thank Stephanie for her serves to this great country from an old Vietnam vet. Thank you for raising a fine young woman. Please feel free to ask any question you have about the Air Force, we are here for you. I have had the privilege of welcoming several folks who are close to Stephanie but no more proud than to be able to welcome her mom. I am so very pleased to greet you Sandra. He did say there is a slow down right now because of the economy, but Wes scored high enough on the ASVAB that he should be high up on the list to go. I am not eager for a leave date, per se, but I know Wes is getting anxious to go. The recruiter is hoping to get an answer for us next week. Stephanie is awesome, I can see why you are so proud. How is she doing in tech school? Lesa
