=) The good old days of listening to Dorm Chief yell at the rest of the females. But, I loved our dorm Chief. Great position. :) Plus once he gets operations it looks excellant to Military leaders
Graduation was fun. It was hard to leave my family…

Welcome. Are you sunlitpony's daughter? My son swore in about the same time, but doesn't leave until summer. He has to get his high school diploma this spring. He filled his dream sheet with jobs related to working with aircraft in hopes of working his way up to officer and pilot. So, what interested you in the Air Force?
Stephanie, “Welcome to the Blue”. I am glad that you have joined us. I see that you have joined in some discussions, I like that jumping in and getting involved. Check out some of the groups. Maybe start a group or discussion of your own. This site is for you to use and enjoy. We are just getting started and we are going to grow. I am excited to see Airmen join; we can always use your perspective on things in the Air Force today. We are here to support and encourage each other. I have two sons and they are both in the military. My oldest joined the Navy and is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. My youngest joined the Air Force over 4 years ago. I would like to thank you for your up and coming service to this great country. I was in the Air Force from 71 to 75 during the end of the Vietnam War. I was a weapons mechanic.
Sgt Terry
Sounds like you really thought it through. I am excited for you, as well. I think we have a pretty good recruiter here in Southern Illinois, but this site has been so helpful to me. I hope you are able to keep in touch with us after you leave. I will be very interested to hear your take on entering the service, as will my son.
:D <3 i support everything you do... and always will unconditionally.

I'm trying to get Wes to join the site, but I think he is being the typical 17 year old boy automatically discrediting everything his mother suggests! I sent him an invite, so I think he will once he actually checks it out. Maybe starting an invite campaign? He can be reached at denmutisten@verizon.net (Nudge, nudge)
