Describe a little about yourself: I am a wife and a mother and I am currently considering joining the AF. I have spoken with a recruiter and found that I am eligible and can start the process as soon or as late as I want to now. It has been a dream of mine to be in the AF since I was a young girl and saw my dad serving in the military. It is just a very honorable career, in my point of view. I am here to get more advice and kinda more encouragement and information on BMT, tech school, and life in the AF period (stuff the recruiter forgets to tell you, LOL). Thanks in advance for all the help!!!!

My oldest joined the Navy and is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. My youngest joined the Air Force 5 years ago, and is stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB N.C. Thank you for your desire to service this great country from an old Vietnam Vet.
Satomi, we are here to do what we can to help you and your family during this time. No question is out of bounds. You may want to start be reading some of what Stephanie has written, she has just finished Basic and is in Tech school. She is busy studying but if she has a moment or two I think she can be of some help. All of us here at Air Force Dads want to be there for you. I am so glad that that you have come here and joined us. I will write more later.
