My Airman's first name: Adam

What will be your Airman's job: CDMT AWACS

Describe a little about yourself: I am married with 3 children. A daughter, and twin boys Adam and Josh. Kristen is married with 2 children. MM3 Joshua is serving in the Navy on submarines and Adam is a Senior Airman in the Air Force as part of the flight crew on the AWACS. I served in the Navy on a destroyer during the Vietnam war and was disability retired after a gunnery accident.

Do you have Prior Military Experience: Proud Navy Veteran

What brought you to this site:: My son is currently serving

What were your feelings when your Airman joined the Air Force?: I was very proud and we hope the best for him in his chosen profession. He plans to make a career of the Air Force and I believe he will do very well no matter his final decision on staying in.

What is your relationship with your Airman: dad

I thought that we should have a site like the Navy Dads because there has been so much help there. We are not as big yet but we will be very soon. Thanks for joining and spread the word so we can get this site off the ground. It’s kind of like watching a C-5 taking off. It doesn’t look like it is going to make it but in the end it final does. I may have said it already but please thank Adam for serving this great country from an old Vietnam Vet. You have raised some fine young people and I know that you are proud of all of them.

At 10:36pm on October 28, 2008, Sgt Terry (Network Creator) said…: Dana, when you try loading it again you may have to wait a while, maybe 30 min. It will take longer than say down loading a video from u-tube. You have to stay on that page until it is totally loaded also. Good luck!
