My son works on the electrical and environmental systems of the F-15E so I am working on model of the aircraft that he is working on. Here is a progress picture.
I loved doing models when I was younger. One of the first ones I had was a birthday present. It was, oddly enough, a P51 Mustang. I did cars, planes, boats. Some of them were the battleships with battery powered propellers. Wow are they expensive now. Where did you get this one from? I may have to get back in to it. And learn to do it right this time, lol.
Well I have not grown up yet so I thought I would work on some models. The first one was the Abraham Lincoln CVN 72 aircraft carrier that my oldest son is stationed on. Yes they have gotten expensive so I may not do as many as I have done in the passed. I got this one from a local shop here in Orlando, Fl. Colonial photo and hobby shop. I do have an informally adopted son in the Army and he is in school learning about helicopter engines so I am going to be putting at least a couple more models together. It is fun and it helps me stay close to the boys, I mean men, no I mean boys, ;-).
