With only 5 days remaining i took today as a business day. I Was still looking for my tax return which i was planning on that money for when i leave for basic to have all my bases covered. I Found out i totally screwed over everything by forgetting one number on my account number.. So i had to locate the check and get it mailed to me by the pony express. Which i won't be getting that until probably another 4 weeks..
So there was a problem, I'll be in basic in 4 weeks lol.. so who signs the check? I Called BofA and they gave me incorrect information so i called again to get another represenative and they said i can have a 'Represenative Payee' which will be my aunt carol.
So :) In a good 5 weeks i'll have my tax return lol.. Good thing i took care of the confusion before i left >< That would have been a COMPLETE mess had i not been here to make a few phone calls.:)
I'd like to thank god for my Aunt Carol, My Lovely Financial CareTaker. <3
Also! I wanted new insurance! Allstate told me it would go up ($197) when i went in for active duty because i'll have such great medical benfits. Isaid 'BS'. ICalled Geico and i got the rate down to $119 a month :)
I'm very satisfied with my findings. I Totally suggest Geico. the experiance over the phone was nothing but positive!
When i come back because im paying high during storage times ill get a few months of 70% Off.. so when i come home ill be paying like 40 dollars a month for a couple months because i joined! :D
Also! My Coworkers got me a Multi point vehicle inspection along with an exterior/interior Full Detail! so i had to get the appointment with the Ford SuperCenter! :) My car will be all set come the 23rd!
I also Packed today! I decided on only packing a carry on.. LEss to deal with.. less to get critizied for ;D
Michael undressed the walls of my room for me and helped make a few important phone calls.. I'd like to thank him <3
I guess i'm just writing to kinda show my experiance of time spent before basic training and the preperation for it ;D
I Also would like to say how proud of my sister i am. She's taking her LPN certification Test the day i ship out! I can only wish her all the luck in the world! I'm positive she'll do awesome :) And for those of you who haven't made the connection ASHI Is my sister! Wish her luck! :D

Attached is a photo of Michael and I on Valentines day :) We wore the same clothes we wore to my freshman and his junior Homecoming. :)
Stephanie, thanks for sharing your list of things that you had to take care of before leaving for BMT. I think it is important for new recruits and their parents to get their affairs in order before it’s time to leave.
I am very excited for you. You are about to embark on a great adventure and although I am excited for you I am also a bit jealous. Of my Air Force career basic was the best time. I hope and pray it will be good for you. We here at Air Force Dads would like to here all about how you are doing.
You take care and we will be thinking of you.
Sgt Terry
Wow, you just gave me a lot of ideas for my son! Fortunately he is going straight from high school, so he doesn't have a whole lot to take care of, but I'm sure it will be more than we expect! I'm excited for you, kid-o, you are going to be great.
